Validation & gap-analysis map. EAs coloured by validation state — where field, model and imagery diverge. This is an area-level view: each EA is a category plus structure and alert counts. No population or household figure is shown — classify buildings, count areas. All figures are simulated demo data.
helpHow to use this map— what it shows and how to work it
What it shows
Every Enumeration Area (EA) coloured by its validation state — where field capture, the model estimate and imagery agree or diverge. Answers “where do we still lack ground truth, and where do the sources disagree?” It is read-only intelligence plus a jump-off to the dispatch queue; it does not edit data.
Reading the colours
- Green · Field-validated — ground-truth roster captured; the trusted baseline the model calibrates against.
- Amber · Capture-gap — buildings detected from imagery but no field roster yet (estimate-only). Target field teams here.
- Red · Field-inaccessible — security/terrain flag; can only be estimated.
- Grey · No data — no structures or footprints yet.
- Violet outline · Active anomalies — open FR-VAL-020 field-QA flags needing correction.
How to work it
- Zoom in. EA polygons are small — at the national view they are nearly invisible. Pan/zoom to a state or LGA (e.g. Kano, Lagos) and the coloured EA fills appear.
- Click an EA for a popup with its EA code, ward · LGA, validation state, structure count and active-alert count.
- Find the violet-outlined EAs (open flags) and use “Open the alert dispatch queue →” below to assign an enumerator to fix them.
- Download rollups — the Validation report (per-LGA) and Per-state buttons export CSV summaries (area-level, no occupant figures) for reporting.
Area-level only — no population or household counts are shown (classify buildings, count areas). All figures are simulated demo data.
Click a colour above to zoom the map to those EAs (they’re small at national zoom).
